NuDrive wins big at Independent Living Design Awards

We are delighted to announce that NuDrive has won first place in the prestigious Independent Living Design Awards from the British Healthcare Trades Association - the industry’s top accolade for innovative new products that help people lead independent lives. Speaking about NuDrive the judges said: "Up to 40% less effort required to propel a manual wheelchair? It didn’t take anything like that amount of effort for us to back this as our winner!" We are delighted to have won this award and look forward to developing more breakthrough products in the future.

Celebrating the launch of NuDrive!

We had a fantastic launch event for NuDrive on Tuesday 7^th October at the Aspire National Training Centre. CEO of Pure Global, Robert Orford, hosted this historic event which included addresses by BBC presenter and writer, Lara Masters and the Director of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Prof Michael Craggs, before NuDrive was officially launched by Peter Gage, Chairman of the NHS National Wheelchair Managers’ Forum. The CandoCo Dance Company concluded the evening with a stirring performance.

“It was fantastic to celebrate this exciting new innovation in wheelchair propulsion with so many great people,” said Robert. Pure Global donated a number of products to charity at the launch event including hosts Aspire, the Spinal Injury Association and the Back Up Trust.

NuDrive Launch – A Celebration of Excellence!

With the first batch of products already sold and a national network of Accredited Dealers now established, the official launch of NuDrive is set for 7^th October at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. In celebration of this groundbreaking advance in technology, Peter Gage, Chairman of the NHS National Wheelchair Managers’ Forum will be launching the product. Joining Peter will be the renowned CandoCo Dance Company who will give a stirring performance on their return from the closing ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Also to be heard on the evening – Lara Masters, Judge of BBC’s hit programme ‘Britain’s Missing Top Model’, and Prof Michael Craggs from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
